Thank you to everyone who’s made the trip to Gallery 215 this year. Our 11th season is quickly drawing to an end, as the gallery will be closing it’s doors at the end of the day on on October 8th. We’ll be open from 10 am to 5:30 pm that day, with a special end-of-season celebration from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. There’ll be music provided by Tim Bowers, refreshments, and this’ll be your last chance to acquire art by more than 40 Nova Scotia artists in a variety of media, in one convenient location.
If you haven’t been to the gallery yet, and while there’s still time, we like to invite you to come visit. We’re located at 8247 Highway 215 in Selma (near Maitland) in the former Selmah Schoolhouse – also known as Selma Community Hall. There’s still a wonderful selection of art to choose from and many pieces will make wonderful souvenirs and gifts come Christmas, whether you’re a visitor to the area or a resident of Nova Scotia.
If you’re travelling about Nova Scotia and interested in history, you’ll want to visit us because we’re in a heritage building that dates back to 1865, during the golden age of sail.
But for now, explore our website and learn more about the gallery, the artists represented, the events we’ve been hosting, and the remarkable building we call home.
