Medium: Pottery, fused glass
Background
I am originally from England and moved to beautiful Nova Scotia in 2009.
I have always been interested in the Arts. My creativity comes through the family and helped me gain two degrees in Design.
My interest in pottery comes from my travels in Europe. So, when I had the opportunity to take some classes in 2010 I jumped at it and have been hooked ever since. My interest in Fused Glass came through one of my fellow Potters. I spent an afternoon being introduced to the art and again I was hooked. A lot of my recent work has been a combination of the two mediums and I have enjoyed the results.
My inspiration for both my pottery and glass at this time comes from the sea around Nova Scotia’s coastline and my love of gardens, plants and flowers.
